My daughter has picked up my knack of taking pictures of strange and entertaining things she encounters... why just yesterday she sent me this little gem.It seems that in New Jersey, you can get a benefit of driving in the high occupancy vehicle lane and park in the good carpooler spots as long as you have a passenger in your car.

HAHA! We see those almost every year when we drive through Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Many people use them so they can commute in the carpooler lanes. Traffic is so god-awful that they are willing to do anything to save sitting in traffic.
Geez, that looks so amateurish. Does something like that really fool the police, or do the cops just give them an A for effort and let them slide?
