Strange on the River Walk: Hard Hat Sombrero

I like the way that our tourism commission seems to have multi-purposed the construction workers building the extension of the River Walk in San Antonio. On the off chance we have any tourists prematurely swing by the River Walk extension construction area, they will be greeted with a festive construction worker who can perform brick laying duties, and strange enough, fill in as a Mariachi if called upon to.

And yet we see another valid use for Duct Tape.

Haw! Do you want to hear something else? The other day (when I didn't have my camera with me, of course!) I saw an older man out and about with an actual sombrero. Not some touristy reprodution, not some mariachi costume piece, but an honest-to-goodness, plain, real sombrero.

It don't get more "San Antonio" than that.
