River Walk Construction Update...

I had to make a short trip downtown on Friday and thought, what the heck, I haven't looked over the side of the bridge in a while and perhaps it would be a good to take a look at the latest construction of our new River Walk extension. From my vantage point at the bridge on McCullough and St Mary's, here are a few pictures. And if it looks, hot out there - it is!Not a whole heck of a lot of action going on here - but now the details like safety rails and such are going into place.I noticed a guy down inside the river bed painting walls. You can see that brown grass-like stuff is still out there. I wouldn't expect to see anything green until we can get some rain or a few more vagrants to spill beer or urine along the way.Overall, I think it is going to be a wonderful place to visit, and can't wait to see what the plans are for the venues on the upper part of the extension.And there you have it...
